John Groebe has been a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1979. A fully licensed real estate broker, John specializes in the sales and marketing of homes and investment property in Oak Lawn, Palos Hills, Palos Park, Palos Heights, the Chicagoland area, Hickory Hills, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Lockport, Oak Park, Burbank, Bridgeview and Chicago Ridge.

John believes that one of the keys to success, both for himself and his clients, is a continually updated education. He takes many classes and seminars to increase his effectiveness and has earned two of the real estate industry’s most prestigious professional designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). Nationally recognized, these designations are earned through a rigorous course of study as well as demonstrated professional experience. Personal

John is a native of the Southwest Suburban area and has lived here all of his life. He attended Easter Illinois University to study Finance and made real estate his first and only career choice. Married to Lynn, John and his wife are partners in business as well as in life. John and Lynn have 2 children, both of whom are attending local public school. John is very involved in the education and activities of his children, being a member of the school’s Music Booster Club as well as the Gymnastics Club. He is also active with the children’s swim team. As a result of his participation in youth activities, John has an acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in the area. He knows the schools, the neighborhoods, the services and the benefits available and is a valuable information resource both for those new to the area as well as to those who are simply changing neighborhoods.

When not serving his clients or his neighbors, John enjoys spending time with his family.
